How do we know if we're getting enough magnesium?

6 out of 10 of us  aren't getting the recommended daily amount of magnesium in our diet. This can be due to low nutrional intake of foods containing it, or perspiration loss, and it can be tricky to monitor.

Often when we have muscle cramps we put it down to needing more magnesium, but muscle cramps can occur due to other reasons such as too much or too little muscle movement through exercise and physical activity.

By adding magnesium to our body through a range of foods we consume such as fruit, nuts, seeds and wholegrains and reducing our intake of processed foods, we can be sure that we're likely to be getting an adequate supply on a regular basis.
