Learn more about Karen Bartle, MSc, Behavioural Change Health Coach.

Journalists, producers, podcast hosts and event organisers.

My focus is on supporting people to Identify and implement evidence-based behavioural solutions to make and maintain sustainable dietary changes.

Most people can make a new dietary change last a few days to a few weeks to, for example, shed a few pounds or in preparation for Surgery. Things typically start off well once we've set our mind to it, but the common problem people have is that the initial motivation and good intentions quickly wane if the diet has to be prolonged, and they reach a point where these are not enough to keep the diet going.

The people I work with typically want to manage chronic symptoms or illness, intolerances or allergies to food, to lose weight, or transition more permanently to a plant strong or vegan whole food plant diet.

There are practical things which need to be done to make sustainable change happen, and my wisdom, extensive clinical experience and expertise, is derived not only from having and wanting to make countless complex and arduous dietary changes of my own, but also from my deep understanding of the scientific evidence from studying health psychology and conducting hundreds of sessions with clients over the last 20 years

Karen is passionate about sharing her insights and wisdom from her own journey, as well as from a professional and clinical perspective of behavioural dietary change, through appearing on podcasts, guest speaking, webinars, blogs, and so on.
