Anorexia Nervosa With Bonnie Killip

In today’s episode I’m joined by Bonnie Killip from Queensland in Australia. Bonnie had Anorexia Nervosa for 15 years.  She gained a heightened awareness around food in her early teens with education and change being significant triggers for her.

Bonnie had all the classic traits of Anorexia Nervosa which predispose to people to suffer with it i.e., perfectionism, harm avoidance,  and people pleasing  and fear became her driver to eliminating more and more foods which she felt unable to add back in so her diet became severely restricted.

Listen in and learn what it’s like for someone living and suffering with Anorexia Nervosa, what eventually led to her recovery, and has influenced the work she does today to help others with this disorder.

Welcome to the Harmful eating and how to eliminate it, I’m your host Karen Bartle, behavioural change and resilience health coach and this is Bonnie Killip’s story.
